Call for Papers
The Finnish Literary Research Society’s 2026 conference will be held at the University of Oulu May 20 to 22. The theme for 2026 is “Bordering the Real and Imagined.” See here for further details: https://www.kirjallisuudentutkimus.fi/en/theme/
The call for presentations is now open to all interested, both literary scholars and researchers in other fields. You can submit your proposal to a specific session that is seeking presentations, or suggest another presentation related to the conference theme. There are 13 working groups open; more will be organized if necessary. In addition, there will be 6 panels organized by research projects.

Call for Working groups
The Finnish Literary Research Society’s 2026 conference will be held at the University of Oulu May 20 to 22. The theme for 2026 is Bordering the Real and Imagined.
The call for working groups and panel discussions is now open to all interested, both literary scholars and researchers in other fields.
The proposed workshop can be open to all interested based on the title and description or complete panels (title, description, and participants provided – ideal for introducing new projects, for example). The language of the workshop can be Finnish, English, Swedish, and Northern Sami/Sápmi.
